I've heard other hostel chains run on a membership basis. Do I need to be a member of anything to stay in a Bakpak hostel?
No, you do not need to be a member of any hostel association to stay at any of our hostels.
Are there any age restrictions?
No, there are no age restrictions at all.
Are there any curfews?
No, all sites have 24 hour access, and the Hotel Bakpak's have 24 hour reception.
Are sheets available?
Yes, all our hostels provide fresh linen, blankets or duvets.
Do I need to make a reservation?
It's always best to book in advance. By booking ahead you rest easy knowing that a comfortable bed will be waiting for you after your long plane trip. It will also enable us to organise your pick up from Bus/Plane/Ferry.

Yes all sites have single sex and share rooms you can choose whatever makes you feel comfortable.

No, most properties also have a selection of single, double and twin rooms.
Can I do my own cooking?
Yes, all our hostels have fully equipped self-catering kitchens.
What about sight seeing tours and activities are they available?
All sites provide recreational activities ranging from walking tours, themed nightly activities and sight seeing tours. The focus of activities is to adhere to the social interaction of our guests.
What methods of payment are accepted in your hostels?
MasterCard, Visa or an Australian debit card. Some of our hostels also allow the use of Mystro and Cyris cards.
Do you supply City maps?
Yes maps are available. Our staff are more than happy to give directions and recommend the places of interest.
